16장. GitOps는 reconciliation과 승인 경계다

Git을 원하는 상태의 검토 가능한 기록으로 사용하고 controller가 drift를 수렴한다. repository merge 권한과 cluster apply 권한을 분리한다. secret 원문을 Git에 넣지 않는다.

sync wave·hook은 migration, application, smoke 순서를 표현하지만 숨은 script가 되기 쉽다. destructive change와 production promotion에는 사람 승인을 둔다. controller outage 때 현재 workload가 어떻게 유지되는지, rollback commit이 data와 호환되는지 훈련한다.
