23장. Trace에서 병목을 좁히는 실습

느린 trace 20개와 정상 trace 20개를 route·version·tenant 등 제한 attribute로 비교한다. critical path에서 queue wait, DB acquire, query, external call, serialization을 나눈다. 한 trace의 이상을 전체 원인으로 일반화하지 않고 metric 빈도로 확인한다.

sampling 때문에 빠진 사건이 있다면 보존 정책을 조정한다. span duration 합과 종단 시간이 다른 구간은 비동기·병렬·instrumentation gap을 찾는다. 수정 뒤 같은 workload에서 trace 분포와 SLO를 비교한다. correlation 과정은 screenshot보다 trace ID·query·profile artifact 링크로 남긴다.
