15장. API Application

CPU, memory, GC, event loop/thread pool, request queue, active requests, error type, deployment를 본다. CPU가 낮아도 thread가 DB connection을 기다리면 느리다. heap만 보고 native memory와 container limit을 놓치지 않는다.

profile은 짧고 승인된 기간에 수집한다. production heap dump는 secret·PII를 포함할 수 있다. 안전한 staging 재현과 continuous profile의 접근 정책을 둔다.

N+1, synchronous external call, unbounded payload, regex backtracking, log I/O를 trace span과 profile로 좁힌다.
