시간, instance, region, tenant, payload size, connection reuse, deployment를 축으로 cohort를 나눈다. 평균 aggregate가 1% 특정 pod 오류를 숨길 수 있다. trace sampling이 드문 오류를 보존하는지 확인한다.

race, stale connection, DNS cache, NAT port, clock, GC pause, retry alignment를 실험한다. chaos는 production에 즉흥 실행하지 않고 가설·blast radius·abort·owner를 갖춘다.
